Earlier this week we attended The International CSR Excellence Awards and were delighted to come home as the National Champion in the Hospitality Initiatives category.

It was fantastic to hear the great work other companies are doing, as well as venue themselves, The Waldorf Hilton, who talked us through their plans for the future and put on a carbon-neutral presentation ceremony. A special congratulations also to the White Rose Shopping Centre who were awarded the Champion of Champions for all the fantastic work they are doing.

The International CSR Excellence Awards are presented to companies that have a heart: caring companies that use their privileged position to help their colleagues, communities, customers, the environment and the less fortunate. Our objective always remains the same - we want to offer customers the choice to rent vehicles from a company who is genuinely concerned about their impact on the environment.

We carry this through to all areas of the business, influencing our environmental and sustainable efforts such as reducing our energy use, minimising water consumption, effective recycling and the employment of sustainable / ecological materials throughout our business platform.
